I watched a DVD yesterday about Barack Obama‘s 2006 trip to Kenya, the Sudan and South Africa. It was very informative and shined a light on a place that not many people think of. Not only does the documentary reveal Obama’s African heritage but also highlights issuess like AIDS, poverty and corruption.

In the DVD, Obama is treated like a hero by the Kenyan people, not unlike the way Muhammed Ali was when he came to the Congo to fight George Foreman. Watching the DVD made me hopeful that Obama will do all in his power to stop AIDS, poverty and corruption and at least understands these issues.
