The R&B star claimed that anchor Robin Roberts did not follow the set talking points they agreed upon before the show started. But he did apologize for “anybody who was offended or really disappointed in my actions.” He said he was “disappointed in himself.”

Brown continued to criticize Roberts for not following the set script they agreed upon with his representatives.

“I felt like, it was like, O.K., you told us this just so they could get us on the show to exploit me. That’s what I thought. And so I took it very, very hard.”
