JILL BIDEN MICHELLE OBAMA

Washington — First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden will launch a national initiative to support and honor America’s service members and their families.  The initiative aims to educate, challenge, and spark action from all sectors of our society — citizens, communities, businesses, non-profits, faith based institutions, philanthropic organizations, and government — to ensure military families have the support they have earned.

Following the launch of this initiative at the White House, First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden will embark on a two day national tour to visit extraordinary examples of communities, businesses and non-profits working to support our Nation’s military families.  On the national tour, Mrs. Obama and Dr. Biden will highlight the work of Americans who have answered the call to serve our military families to showcase ways all Americans can serve them, from teachers and business leaders, to neighbors and volunteers.
