More Moms Kill Kids Under Age 5 Than Dads

Last week, the sad case of Lashanda Armstrong emerged. Armstrong drove her and her three children into the Hudson River. They all died.

While many can’t believe a mother would such a thing, Jocelyn Noveck of the Associated Press challenged that notion by examining just how many women kill their children in the United States. Experts are saying that more mothers than fathers kill children under the age of 5.
