According to Popeater.com, Halle Berry has dropped out of the play Mountaintop to attend to her custody fight with ex-husband Gabriel Aubry over daughter Nahla.

“[Halle will] not be appearing in the role due to child-custody issues,” producers said of the play revealed in a statement via Pop Eater.

There were reports that Halle had concerns about her daughter’s “well-being” when she was with her father for long periods, and earlier this year the star backed out of a lead role in the movie New Year’s Eve because of the battle.
