When Friday the 13th rolls around people become nervous. Is there any real reason for it?  Do bad things really happen on the 13th? There is much more to how this superstition took a life of it’s own other than Jason’s  coming back for revenge.

Some people refuse to go to work on Friday the 13th; some won’t eat in restaurants; many wouldn’t think of setting a wedding on the date. Friday the 13th occurs when the thirteenth day of a month falls on a Friday, which superstition holds to be a day of bad luck.
