I Love Rush Limbaugh and you should too! Every time this man opens his mouth the Democratic Party gains at least 1000 votes. The more he talks the more we add to our lead in the congress. We will gain at least a one seat in the Senate in 2010 and between 5 and 10 in the house. What most of you don’t understand about the drugster is that he doesn’t give a hoot about the Republican party or America! Its all about his ratings and the advertising he can sell. He will say anything to get the attention he survives on. Call it his new addiction. Political Crack! You know like calling the President a potential Supreme Court Justice a racist….No problem
Comparing said Justice to David Dukes….Just a minor point! Telling his radio audience you want our President to fail in the middle of a national crisis…Well this is why we have the House the Senate and the White House. These people had been in power so long that they really think the can say anything and the public will accept it. Well…for the most part we did! I used to listen to Rush, I stopped when he tried to convince everyone that $5 dollar a gallon gas was a bargain. He’s out of touch most definately… I doubt any of you have ever listened to his show though… Rush isn’t the one keeping racism alive, it’s the Government, and the Media. I don’t believe he’s a bigot, and so what if he disagrees with President Obama? Does that make him racist? Or is it the Media that takes him out of context? This article is yet another in a long line of left wing knee jerk reactions. Rush Limbaugh is a lot of things – but he certainly is NOT a bigot!

I mean really – instead of getting “all in a huff” about what the man has said, why not take his OWN advice, and actually listen to his ENTIRE arguement. If you have listened to his entire point of view, and still have a problem with what he said, then I can respect that. But to take one or two lines from a 15 min streach and make a civil rights case out of it? Thats not only wrong, its sad. And it reflects the overall inherant weakness of any left wing arguement.

And, just because I feel like going on my own rant…

Republicans fought, bled and died to free slaves. Most southern slave masters and plantation owners were – yes, thats right, democrats. In fact, the real mystery for me is how can a political party that has done more to harm black people or destroy black families in the last 50 years somehow rewrite history to make themselves seem more sympathetic – but run a mixed race candidate on the top of their ticket…and win!

Like Clinton before him, Obama is not going to “change” anything, and will in fact get loads and loads of people killed by listening to pollsters instead of the facts on the ground. I would say ask someone from Rwanda, Bosnia or Chetchnya, even Oklahoma City…but Clinton did not leave many survivors to offer quotes or commentary after he made a mistake in judgement – just high poll numbers. Obama will not be any different.
