Scotty McCreery won the 10th season of “American Idol”, beating out the his competitor Lauren Alaina by over 122 million votes.
“Never in my wildest dreams,” a stunned Scotty said. He closed the show by singing “I Love You This Big,” which will be his first single.
For their efforts, McCreery and Alaina each won a Ford vehicle. They also gave Ford cars to the teachers who influenced them the most.
