well, i live in the city, and the reason these homes r so cheap is because, when they r vacated, the zombies…as i like to call them strike…tearing out all the pipes lookin for copper, stealing windows, doors , furnaces, cabinets..u name it!!! befor u know it, all that is standing is a shell of what used to be a home..Its a sad time for my city..Our city officials r not fit for their positions and continuously embarrass our city…i could go on 4 days, but i won’t..i will just leave with , i hope that we can rebuild our status and that my fellow Detroiters do their part and take care of their properties and live as respectful adults and children who appreciate living peaceful and well..

Grad has a point. Long distance landlords almost never work out.If the investor cannot afford to ire a property management team the house will fall in disrepair fast.
Not only that,if you have a dispute to settle,will you be asked to sign an arbitrary agreement along with your rental agreement?

For those that don`t have any experience in dealing with the local laws and regulations of not only renters but property owners as well, this can be a nightmare.Just because in you country you can throw a family out in the street will that rule apply here…trust me…it won`t

So eventually a marginal part of the owners that can`t afford the upkeep will fall into forcloseure and for all of you bellyachers…yeah Mayor I`m talkin to your triflin ass. Get your pennies together and buy those forclosures and keep America`s property in America`s hands!

What`s that?….you can`t afford it??…welll….SHUT YA DAMNED MOUTH YA CRYBABY!
