What happens when outsiders to the HBCU community try to impact Black college culture? The answer may not be as straightforward as you think.
As times get tougher, we as citizens are counting on our political leadership to be ever diligent in the fight to protect our interests. As we work on creating bottom up change, we need to know that we are supported by legislation that creates opportunities for uplifting the neediest among us. In this segment of “FROM THE BOTTOM UP,” we meet Councilman Oscar S. James, a young man who sees it as his ultimate responsibility to maintain a hands-on approach to serving his constituents.
