Prosecutors have agreed to release ex-IMF chief Dominique Strauss Kahn from house arrest after questions began to arise about the Sofitel maid’s rape accusation.
Kahn will recoup his bail money, but will be unable to travel outside of the country.
Sources close to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office say recent revelations about the maid’s claims have forced them to move in releasing Kahn.
