What happens when outsiders to the HBCU community try to impact Black college culture? The answer may not be as straightforward as you think.
A school in Kansas showcased a school project that paid tribute to the Ku Klux Klan. An African American parent saw the project being displayed at a school open house and took pictures of it.The project was for a class project on historical figures.
One of the captions was “You forget to clean your white robe so you can’t go to the lynching. You are punished. Move back two spaces.”
