The trial of a man charged with planting a bomb at a Martin Luther King parade in Spokane Wash. has been moved due to the unveiling of the new MLK memorial in Washington D.C.

Kevin Harpham was originally set to face the court Aug. 22, but a federal judge insisted on moving the trial date to next month so that they jury would not be swayed by the Aug. 28 MLK memorial celebration.

“Justice isn’t something that we just give lip service to, it is, in fact, fairness.”  The judge expressed concern with the MLK memorial activities which will be held up to one week before the event.”
