WASHINGTON — South Carolina Congressman Joe Wilson has been hospitalized with a fever, according to his office.

Wilson famously disrupted President Obama‘s address last year to congress by yelling “You Lie.”

Wilson is also a supporter of the Confederate Flag and a member of the Sons Of Confederate Veterans, which has ties to white supremacists.

The New York Daily New reports:

Just last week, Wilson’s communications director announced the lawmaker was taking antibiotics to treat symptoms of Lyme disease. Fevers are often associated with the inflammatory disease that’s spread through a tick bite.

According to his office, Wilson, 64, contracted the illness while working in his yard and his condition is not contagious.
