Obama Orders AgenciesPresident Barack Obama ordered federal agencies to move faster with their payments to small businesses contracted by the government today in his jobs speech at North Carolina State University in Raleigh.

“Currently payments must be made within 30 days of receipt of proper documentation by the federal agency,” Carney said. “Under this new policy, we are cutting the goal in half, to 15 days.”
