The New York Daily News is reporting that New Orleans Hornet guard Chris Paul has asked to be traded to the New York Knicks.

While speculation of the deal sounds great for New York sports fans, the Daily News says it is not the likely since the Knicks would have to trade either Amar’e Stoudemire or Carmelo Anthony to secure Paul.

The New york Daily News reports:

Hornets general manager Dell Demps, a former Knicks scout, wants to meet with Paul to gauge whether he wants to be traded, Yahoo! Sports said.
