NBA player Kris Humphries asked a judge Thursday to annul his marriage to Kim Kardashian on the basis that it was fraudulent.

Humphries believes he was used to help boost Kardashian’s television show ratings. Humphries filed for the separation, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for separation and “fraud” as the legal grounds for annulment.

“He was just slotted in the plot line of Kim Kardashian’s latest headline and newest business venture,” the sources said.

“He is sensitive to marriage both emotionally and religiously,” the source told The News. “He entered the marriage in good faith and genuinely loved her and is devastated that it turned out like this.”
