NEW YORK-Prosecutors say that Jamel Burton, wounded one man and killed another on a bus in Queens, New York was searching for a bloodbath and was paranoid that people were stalking him and out to get him.

Police say Burton killed his girlfriend’s 18-year-old son and then got on the bus to escape. Once on the bus he show two men, who he believed were on to him and following him.

The New York Daily News reports:

Burton used a Q111 bus as his getaway vehicle after shooting Murrell inside their apartment in Jamaica’s Baisley Park Houses, but flipped out when he thought passengers on the packed bus were onto him, cops said.

He shot two riders, killing one of them, Marvin Gilkes, 36.
