Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World Gala honored 7 African Americans last night. Of course Michelle Obama and her husband were honored. Also honored were academic, Dr. Colonel West, environmental activist and adviser to the White House, Van Jones, journalist, Tavis Smiley, singer, John Legend and talk show host, Oprah Winfrey.
