Im from Savannah and I know this may sound harsh but he did kill this off-duty officer. There was physical evidence found against him that was deemed inadmissable in court because his mother’s home was searched but it was while she was under durrest. There were a pair of shorts found with Officer McPhail’s brain matter on them that Davis had just changed out of prior to leaving his mom’s house. Officer McPhail was off-duty and did not approach Davis to arrest him or to correct him in any way and (McPhail)was shot at close range, execution style. I dont agree with the death penalty, but the law of the land has been broken.
