SEE ALSO:

Abreeya Carol Brown and Ashley Victoria Conaway were abducted from a house in Hamtramck on Tuesday night and forced into the trunk of a silver sedan, the Free Press added.

The Free Press has more:

Hamtramck Police arrested Brandon Lewis Cain, 26, Conaway’s ex-boyfriend, Wednesday night in connection with the women’s disappearance, Hamtramck Police Detective George Voight said this morning. He did not release additional information.

The women were taken at gunpoint at 10 p.m. Tuesday from their Hamtramck home on Andrus Street. They haven’t been heard from since Conaway sent a text message to a cousin saying the two were locked in the trunk of a car. Police said the vehicle was a silver Chrysler Concorde or Sebring.

“We’re looking at anything we can,” Carbarino said of the vehicles impounded. “I doubt those will be the only two. We’re running down all these leads.”
