Mom Makes Daughter Wear I'm A Thief T-ShirtBy theGrio

Mother Danaka Walker made her daughter Aaroneisha Celestin wear a t-shirt saying, “I’m a thief” after she stole a $10 dollar t-shirt from a store a week ago, theGrio reports.

Walker understand her style of punishment may be strict, but this is what she has to say about that:

“I feel like if you’re going to embarrass me by stealing, I’m gonna show you what it’s like to be embarrassed. Everybody’s gonna know that you stole,” Walker said, “I work too hard for her to steal, and I’m not gonna have no thief living with me. I refuse to have a thief living with me.”

Walker made the shirt the day after Celestin was caught shoplifting.
She said she was sick to her stomach while picking up her daughter at the Jefferson Parish Juvenile Detention Center in Harvey, Louisiana.

“Even though it’s her first offense, I want to make sure it’s her last,” Walker said, “I don’t want to ever go back and have to go pick up my child from jail.”
