Stupid lost black folks. I heard Rev. Wright preach 3 or 4 times at my church here in Jacksonville.fl. If this man is the man that the media makes him out to be, he is a good con artist as well as a excellent preacher. Pastor Wright was judged by the white media and we followed.If you listen to his sermon in its entirety, You would think a lot differently. I’m not his defender, but someone who thinks that spin doctors have blinded our images of truly great black leaders.

In order for Mr. Barack Obama to have been victorious in his race to become president, he had to distance himself from Rev. Wright.(my opinion) To be honest, Rev. Wright was trippin’ and I don’t blame Mr. President for kicking him to the curb. As far as the statements about he is not helping the black community, I don’t personally recall him ever saying he was. Just because he’s black don’t mean he is obligated to cure all the ills of the black community. Here’s a thought stop making one person your savior (other than Jesus) and try to help yourselves. He is the presdident of the USA, not only Black America. Stop hatin’ on the man and allow him to shine for a damn minute. If he improves the country in 4 years or makes a few good leaps, then vote to re-elect him.If not, vote 4 someone else.

I admire Rev. Wright alot more than Barack Obama. I respect a man who has integrity and stands for what he believes in. I don’t think that Obama has any integrity and I don’t think he will do a thing directly or indirectly for the Black Community. As far as I’m concerned, there’s no need for a black president if all he can do is posture for us. We can do that ourselves. We have problems that need to be solved.

I agree; SO WHAT if Obama met with Wright during the primaries. Wright was his pastor for many years and a person will (or should) seek out spiritual guidance when facing a major life decision. Furthermore sometimes a friend needs to speak frankly with a friend; and in this case Obama needed to be clear with Wright and it was much better to do so face-to-face than by letter or e-mail or Twitter or some other impersonal means.
