Another DeBarge family member has been busted for narcotics possession; this go-round it’s brother Mark.  The former member of the famed 80’s R&B singing group sensation DeBarge was arrested in a Hollywood hotel along with an unidentified female, reports TMZ.

Mark is a singer, trumpet-player and songwriter who is best known for co-writing the DeBarge signature hit “Stay With Me”. The timeless chart-topper has been sampled by such great artists as the Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige and Mariah Carey.

The 52-year-old was in a hotel room with a woman who, reportedly, was on parole.  When her parole officer entered the couple’s room for a  routine check, drugs were discovered on the premises.  There was no information as to the type of narcotics that were uncovered.

After being arrested and charged with drug possession, Mark is said to have been released on bail.

Mark and troubled siblings Bunny, El, James, Chico, Bobby and Randy have all fallen victim to the family curse of drugs and alcohol addiction.  Only last month El were arrested for drug possession.  Last year, James was sent to jail on drug and assault with a deadly weapon charges.
