Academy Award-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr. has been allegedly on a boozey path to self-destruction, and sources fear that he may be in dire need of rehab to get his drinking under control, according to the National Enquirer.

Gooding, who is in New York City serving as a juror at New York’s famed Tribeca Film Festival, allegedly visited the Dream Downtown Hotel, where he did a slight strip tease by removing his shirt, wrapping it around his head, and performing a table dance for curious spectators.

Gooding then reportedly moved his performance to a hot club, where he was seen downing vodkas. Two days earlier, the married father of three went to the Darby Club and was caught allegedly pawing at the party host’s girlfriend. She was allegedly “forced to wrestle him off,” according to the New York Post’s Page Six.
Last month, the 44-year-old Gooding was front page fodder again, when he was observed dancing crazy, stripping off his champagne soaked shirt and flexing his muscles at yet another popular New York City nightlife hot spot. The actor’s handlers had to actually pull Gooding aside to warn him to get a grip of himself because folks were snapping pictures of his animated antics with their cell phones, reported the New Post’s Page Six column.
Over the years, Gooding has been busted by the media for allegedly cheating on his wife of 18 years, Sara Kapfer, who was also his high school sweetheart. In 2000, the Enquirer found out about Gooding’s alleged short-lived affair with a blond nurse whom he had spent three days and nights with in Ely, Nevada. Five years ago, Gooding allegedly convinced a blond model and her friend to go back to his hotel room. When he began to uninhibitedly strip and show the pair more than “the money,” the women got frightened and ran away.
According to the unidentified source, “Cuba needs to go to rehab before he’s known in Hollywood as the ‘show-him-the-door’ guy.”
