New-Orleans rapper Mystikal is sitting behind bars again after checking into a Louisiana jail on Monday morning to serve out the remainder of a 90-day sentence.  The punishment stems from a February charge of domestic abuse reported by the mother of two of his children, according to TMZ.

Mystikal, whose actual name is Michael Lawrence Tyler, was released from a Louisiana state prison back in 2010 after he was incarcerated for six years on charges of sexual battery and extortion back in 2003.   Mystikal pleaded guilty to forcing his hairstylist to perform sex acts. He also admitted to extortion. The rapper and two bodyguards forced the woman to perform oral sex and accused her of stealing $80,000 in checks.  The 41-year-old originally stated that the act was consensual but then the judge who presided over his trial actually viewed a tape of the act and handed down his sentence of six years.

Reportedly, the performer violated the conditions of his parole by getting arrested last February on the domestic abuse charge.  Mystikal was however given credit by a judge for serving nine days after he was placed behind bars, so he actually has 81 days left on his time and is due out of jail this go-round in August.

Mystikal, a registered sex offender, who will forever be viewed as a sexual predator, signed a deal with Cash Money Records last December and has been recording new music that he plans on releasing during his most recent stint in jail.
