Family and authorities were frantically searching for 7-year-old Isear Jeffcoat, who went missing in Philadelphia Friday afternoon on a trip with his daycare center to a local pool. Unfortunately, the search has come to an end. Jeffcoat’s body was found at the bottom of that same pool Saturday morning, reports MyFoxPhilly.com.

According to Philadelphia.CBSLocal.com, law enforcement released a statement at approximately 10 p.m. Friday night asking for any help with locating the child’s whereabouts. He was found hours later at the bottom of what has been described as a murky pool.

According to sources, there was an argument over a floatation device shortly before Jeffcoat disappeared.  Police searched surrounding areas, including the boy’s home, before locating him. Allegedly, it was “difficult to see” to the bottom.

This news comes on the heels of the tragic story of 17-month-old Zyia Turner. As previously reported by NewsOne, the toddler was found dead in the closet of her home Saturday morning after being reported missing Friday night. A police cadaver dog located her body.

Foul play has not been reported in either death and, to date, no one has been charged with a crime.

[Editor’s Note: Isear Jeffcoat’s age has been listed as both 7-years-old and 8-years-old by various sources. NewsOne made a decision to list his age as it appears most, as well as it appears on the latest report.]
