A Winfrey family feud is brewing, involving talk show maven Oprah (pictured right), her dad Vernon (pictured left), and his estranged wife Barbara, reports Radar Online.

Last year, Barbara and Vernon reportedly opened a barbershop, replacing the original one they owned nearby.  In June, the building that houses the barbershop went in to foreclosure then sold at an auction on June 29.

“There is no reason for it to go into foreclosure like this. The property is upside down, which is what a lot of properties are. It cost us $481,000 to build this building, but it’s only worth $350,000,” said Barbara.

According to Barbara, Oprah gave her husband bad business advice, regarding the barbershop.  “I know what is going on. I’m tired of it, and I’ve had enough,” Barbara said.

The miffed missus was on the verge of taking out a loan with another bank in order to save the barbershop by paying off the building debt, but her husband reportedly did not agree with her decision and refused to co-sign on the financial documents.

“People are giving him wrong advice, and it’s leaving me in a situation where all I can do is fight for me,” Barbara contends.

Winfrey actually bought the foreclosed building for more than $475,000, and according to a statement that was provided to Channel 4 News by a spokesperson for Oprah, “Oprah purchased the property that was in foreclosure. [Still], “Vernon Winfrey has been a fixture in the community for decades and will continue to manage the business on a day-to-day basis.

Now the purchase has relegated Barbara to a non-ownership position with regards to the barbershop.  Peeved by her stepdaughter’s purchase, Barbara says, “He believes what he’s told. His daughter doesn’t care about the community. His daughter doesn’t care about the barbershop, but I do.”

Vernon shared some interesting news with WSMV Channel 4 stating, “My wife and I, we have not been getting along well, and I did not want to endow myself to another drawn-out, struggling debt.”

As if the barbershop feud isn’t enough drama, Vernon reportedly filed for divorce from his wife on Tuesday.  Now Barbara is saying that she is worried about her 80-year-old husband’s overall physical and mental state because he might not know what he is doing.
