Berry was filming the crime thriller “The Hive,” where she plays a 911 operator who must confront a killer from her past in order to save a young girl’s life.

At some point, Berry took a nasty fall and reportedly hit her head on the concrete. The Academy Award-winning actress was then rushed to Los Angeles’ Cedars Sinai Medical Center by ambulance.

After the incident, the set was reportedly shut down but it will resume its production schedule. Berry, who checked out fine in spite of her injuries, was later released from the hospital.

Berry’s current mishap isn’t the first time she has taken an accidental spill.  Last year while filming “Cloud Atlas” in Spain, the actress broke her foot.  In 2003, on the set of the thriller “Gothika,” Berry broke her arm.  A year later during the filming of “Catwoman,” a lighting prop clobbered the 45-year-old on the head and she had to be rushed to a hospital for treatment.

Berry’s Bond girl experience will always be a memorable one for her.  During  “Die Another Day” in 2002, the filmmakers caused a helicopter to blow up and debris became lodged in the performer’s eye.  Berry who played “Jinx,” a super agent with a license to kill, had to have shrapnel removed from her eyes.

In Berry’s current film, cast members include Abigail Breslin and wrestler David Otunga, who is Jennifer Hudson’s fiance.  The film is due out next year.
