George Zimmerman told Fox News’s Sean Hannity in a pre-recorded interview set to air at 9 p.m. EST that he prays daily for the parents of Trayvon Martin.
Yes, the same 17-year-old unarmed teen he shot dead on Feb. 26 and whose death he mocked by joking that “I can hide in a hoodie” when discussing his proposed safety options outside of jail.

When Hannity asked Zimmerman what he would say to Trayvon’s parents, he answered, “I would tell them, again, I’m sorry.”
Here is more of what he told Hannity:
“My wife and I don’t have any children,” Zimmerman said in an excerpt released in advance of the airing. “I have nephews that I love more than life. I love them more than myself. And I know when they were born, it was a different unique bond and love that I have with them. And I love my children even though that they aren’t born yet.
Given Zimmerman’s utter disrespect for the law, his comments hardly seem sincere. NewsOne will be tuning in to the 9 p.m. EST Fox News exclusive interview to listen to every word that leaves his lips. Go to this link to see the 45-second pre-released video clip of the interview.
