In less than a month, NFL player Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson‘s world has crumbled.  Now that the fallen-from-grace celeb’s short-lived marriage to reality show star Evelyn Lozada has sizzled and burned over a domestic violence charge, Johnson has taken to Twitter to do some self-reflection over all that has happened, reports the Daily Mail.

The 34-year-old wide receiver lamented on Twitter:

I got to start life over and create a new one… RT

A whirlwind of bad karma has taken Johnson for a loop, which began with the alleged head-butting of Lozada, causing his arrest and her need to get stitches for an open gash on her forehead.

Johnson was then released from his contract with the Miami Dolphins over the reported domestic abuse incident, he and his estranged wife also lost their VH1 “Ev and Ocho” reality show deal, and valuable endorsements began to  fall by the wayside for the free agent.
You would think that the final straw for Johnson would have been when Lozada filed for divorce.  Wrong!
Women then began crawling out of the woodwork publicly claiming to have been sleeping with the alleged serial cheater during his engagement and even throughout his three-week marriage to Lozada.  One woman even claimed to have maintained a five-month relationship with the former “Dancing With the Stars” favorite.
Now it appears that Johnson realizes that he might not have made the best choices, tweeting:
Chad Johnson@ochocinco
Don’t feel bad, my black ass messed up, I made the bed now I gotta lay n it RT

Meanwhile, Lozada told TMZ on Tuesday that she has been “laying low” and has not spoken to her husband since the alleged physical altercation on August 11th.
