This morning, riders on New York’s MTA subway train system in Queens endured a scary event, where two people were injured after a woman went on stabbing rampage. MTA officials say Dina Saint-Fleur, 25, was arrested around 8:45 a.m., after slashing two victims, reports the New York Post.

The fracas ensued as a result of an altercation between Saint-Fleur and a couple, 34-year-old Antoine Roddy and 24-year-old Princess Allsop,  on the J Train and continued after they exited the vehicle. T

he argument carried over to the Sutphin Boulevard/Archer Avenue station’s escalator, when the suspect cut the boyfriend and girlfriend. A third person was also injured after a fall on the escalator. Officer Jamie Atkinson was able to take down Saint-Fleur and recover the weapon before further injury took place.

All victims were reported to be in stable condition at Jamaica Hospital. Apparently, the melee left behind quite a mess. “There’s a lot of blood on the platform,” said MTA cleaning man Jose Fernandez. “I’m not looking forward to it. This is terrible.”

The scene caused chaos for subway riders who exited the station screaming, according to a cab driver’s account. “Then a couple of people came up the stairs with blood on their arms and hands,” the cab driver said.

No further details about the case have come forward as of yet.
