Leo O’Brien, co-star of the 1985 film, “Last of the Dragon,” is dead at 41, TMZ reports.

Details behind his death are unclear, but sources told the entertainment news site that O’Brien passed away in New York City on Wednesday morning. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.

If you remember, he played Bruce Leroy’s little brother, Ritchie Green, in the mid-80’s hit movie. Tiamak, Bruce Leroy in the film, says family members believed the former child actor’s health has been in decline lately.

Just over a year ago, O’Brien survived two gun shot wounds in Harlem. Police apprehended a suspect and charged him with attempted murder.

NewsOne will update this story as new details develop.
