From NY1 News:
A six-year-old Harlem girl suffering from a rare form of leukemia is scheduled to undergo a potentially life-saving bone marrow transplant today.
Jasmina Anema has been hospitalized since January.
When news of her illness broke, a massive bone marrow drive was held.
Two near-perfect matches were found from the more than 7,000 volunteers who were tested. But since neither is a perfect match, there is a chance Anema’s body will reject the marrow.
