Zoey, the 3-month-old orphaned daughter of Jovan Belcher and Kasandra Perkins, is eligible to receive at least $1,000,000 over the span of 23 years from the NFL, reports USA Today.

Under the terms of the league’s collective bargaining agreement, Zoey, who will be three months old on Dec. 11, will receive $9,000 per month for the next 48 months, and at least $4,000 per month from age 4 until she turns 18 – or 23 if she goes to college.

Zoey is eligible for the money under the league’s Surviving Child benefit.

As previously reported by NewsOne, Belcher fired nine shots at the mother of his child after he returned home from a night of partying with another woman. Belcher’s mother, Cheryl Shepherd, can be heard on a heartwrenching 911 tape begging the young woman to “stay with me.”

According to USA Today, Belcher’s beneficiaries will receive $1.2 million and savings and Zoey will be covered under the NFL’s health insurance until she is 5-years old.
