This is so sad. Metro always has some mess going with them. My prayers go out to the families impacted by this tragedy.

I am so glad that I road the orange line and I was just about to ride the red line but something told me not to. I called and text everybody I could think of that rides that train and they were alright. That was crazy! Metro get alot of explaining to do….

My fiance was 2 minutes late for this train. He overslept and was late for work. He called me from the platform. He watched the train pull off and he saw it crash. God is a wonderful. I don’t know what I would have done if he had been on that train. Thank you Jesus….

Well we won’t know what exactly happened to cause the train to crash into the back of the other. Could of been human erro but the trains are usually controlled by ATC, automated control basically. Brakes could have failed or something else. Who knows, we will have to wait till the investigation is done. I hope no one else is hurt and my prayers go out.

Right now it looks like an error on a train operator. According to the news, one train hit another train in the back while it was awaiting clearance to move.

So far, there are 4 people dead including the operator that hit the train in the back. It was also reported that the number of dead could reach 7.

Rescue workers are still looking for more victims.

I hope they don’t find any more casualties.
