I think the thing with the girls was just someone’s bad judgment that they’re taking the heat for. I can see where they may have thought it was a good idea. I don’t think it sets the stage for child pornography though. Everyone who knows the law knows that having sex with a minor is illegal. People have to think for themselves about what’s right and wrong. Just because it’s said in a song doesn’t make it alright. For instance, if a kid getting arrested for stealing a video game out of Target tells his mom his friend told him to do it, the friend won’t get in trouble; the son will. In most cases, Hip-Hop isn’t supposed to be taken literal. That should be understood by everyone.

I don’t think that there was any ill will in Cash Money bringing their children on the stage- but they also did not realize that changing that song aroung a little for their girls didn’t change our sentiment about it, and it WAS very inappropriate for them to bring the girls on the stage. Outside of this episode, I thought this was one of the best award shows in a loooooonnnggggg time- way to go, Michelle!!!
P.S. and if you think Baby’s baby mama could tell Baby what not to do, then you are crazier than a whole lot of crazy people!!!

I had to come back to this for real. Here’s where I’m coming from, I just now saw last weeks episode of College Hill. I think it was last weeks, I got it on DVR. Anyway, its the episode where they celebrated President Obamas election to president. I’m sitting there and I’m remembering all the excitement of that night and then I’m thinking, 9 mos ago we were celebrating one of our greatest accomplishments and now we got this a*shole performing pornographic music for kids. I agree with the article. I felt the children should not have been on set with the language and content of the song. However, I could tell by the body language of some audience members that they too seem a bit uncomfortable.
