The missing Springfield, Miss., 13-month-old baby girl Harmony Blue (pictured), who was abducted Saturday afternoon as she and her 4-year-old brother sat in a running car while their father made a quick dash in to a grocery store, was found hours after her brother was located, reports ABC News.

Harmony Blue and her brother were left inside a gray 2002 Nissan Maxima while their father ran inside a Save-a-Lot grocery store. The unidentified Father reportedly left the car running with the keys inside the ignition.

A White woman with blond hair was allegedly seen getting in to the running vehicle and driving off with the two children still inside the vehicle.

Police state that the suspect is not a friend or relative of the children’s family.

The older brother was eventually dropped off on a street, with the crying child reportedly knocking on the door of local resident Sharon Beeson.  The boy was said to have asked the stranger, “Are you safe? Can I stay here?” Beeson reportedly told the child, “Yes, come on,” then notified authorities.

The distraught boy told Beeson how he had been sitting in his dad’s car and how a girl jumped in and took him and his sister.

Police throughout the state of Missouri was put on alert to be on the lookout for the Nissan Maxima. The vehicle was finally spotted around 10 p.m. by a family member at  at an apartment complex parking lot.

Harmony Blue was discovered unharmed inside the car, still in the one-piece sleeper she had been dressed in earlier.

The Springfield police department is still searching for the suspect who kidnapped the children and are asking anyone with information that might assist in locating her to call Crime Stoppers at 417-869-8477 (TIPS).
