Despite da circumstance of this situation, it’s sad dat even if she didn’t shoot him & she just shot herself, he probably would’ve found someone else to cheat with eventually for whatever reason him /his wife aren’t able to work things out. I’m not going to say that Steve McNair deserved what he got because no one deserves to be murdered by ANYONE but I have to be honest: things like this happen when a person is knowingly committing a sin. Whether you’re smoking crack, drinking huge quantities of alcohol, or sleeping with someone who is not your spouse or significant other, death can come when you least expect it. This is why people should think before they act. I know that people can die at any time for any reason but this is why people shouldn’t shrug off the fact that something bad could happen while they’re in the midst of doing wrong. And no, no one knows the facts about McNair’s marriage but if he knew that he didn’t want to be with Mechelle, he should have come right out & told her so, packed his bags & moved on. I don’t think Mechelle knew he was sleeping around, I honestly don’t. And honestly I think McNair was a fool for buying this chick a truck and had only been dating her for six months. The chick was a fool as well, taking on another vehicle payment as well as a rent payment to the condo. I would have asked him if he were going to pay on the truck & had he said no, I would have told him to take it back. No way would I have struggled to make 2 vehicle payments plus a rent payment and he’s not helping at all. Shows just how much he really ‘loved’ her.

I think that it’s wrong that some people on here think that just because he cheated and she cheated with him that they both deserve to die..If that was the case a lot of people would be dead for similar reasons..Only god can judge whether they will go to heaven or hell.. All I have to say is I feel for his wife and kids. Before this became a “murder-suicide”, my only comment was its sad his family has to go on with the knowledge he died with another woman. “Murder-suicide” couldnt have been any further from my mind. I’m 30 years old and its STILL mind boggling to me that a man would marry a woman, start a family, and then dishonor his vows by cheating. And then Eddie George is making excuses for him. To the person who said he bought her an Escalade – no, he didn’t. He made the downpayment and co-signed on it. SHE was making the monthly note – on a waitress salary! That was one of the things she was so depressed about! She couldn’t sell her old car, so she was making two car payments! She was an idiot for getting herself into that dumb situation and he was a jerk for helping her get a vehicle she couldn’t afford!

I will say this to whoever said all the icons are dying Fawcett, Jackson, and McNair, true all these are sad cases but the last two deaths could have been prevented.

No one deserves to be murdered by someone else BUT I won’t be surprise if more and more people wind up dead from a crazy lover. Steve McNair was not gonna leave his wife and half of his fortune for a side piece and everyone on here saying he loved her get serious. these athletes play this game daily. they will trick on these women even get them pregnant but leave wifey i think not unless they want half of everything gone. remember the song “it’s cheaper to keep her.” he was with his wife for 12 of the 13 years he played football. so whether the wife knew about the affair or not it’s irrelevant. her bread was buttered either way. A man can love his wife and children and still cheat on her. for men sex and love are two different things. women don’t differentiate between the two. he probably loved his wife to death but like so many men he was offered sex and he took it. his fault for taking it and her fault for falling for the game and not being able to deal with it.
