Out of the 12 Collin County, Texas, jurors who ruled in the much-publicized custody case, 11 reportedly ruled in Deion’s favor.

The former reality show star and current NFL network analyst will have full physical and legal custody of his two sons, ages 13 and 11, while he and Pilar will share custody of their 9-year-old daughter.

According to the court ruling, the former Dallas Cowboy will make all of the educational, health, and extracurricular activities decisions for his sons and share the decison-making for his daughter with Pilar.

Responding to the jury’s decision, Deion said, “I’m thankful; I’m elated. In any war, there will be casualties, but I didn’t want the casualties in this case to be my kids.”

Pilar, on the other hand, was said to be “flabbergasted” upon hearing the court ruling.  The former model-turned-actress’ legal team plan on appealing the court ruling.

The trial lasted one week and jurors were subjected to testimony about the duo’s ugly battles that have, for the most part, played out publicly.  Deion’s lawyer, Rick Robertson, referred to Pilar as a “vindictive” woman whom his client cannot trust. While Pilar’s attorney, Friedman and Luke Gunnstaks, tried to paint Deion as an absentee father who frequently embarrasses his children.

Pilar’s lawyers brought up nasty allegations, such as Pilar’s accusations of Deion choking her on the set of their defunct reality show. Pilar also accused her estranged husband of using steroids and trying to ruin her image by using his Twitter followers to disparage her.

Deion denied all of Pilar’s accusations telling The Dallas Morning News, “We don’t sling mud. We were very ethical.”

Deion and Pilar agreed to remain in north Texas for the sake of the children.
