African-American bloggers from around the country will gather this Friday in Harlem for the 6th Annual Blogging While Brown Conference, held at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in New York City.
The two-day event will bring together black social media experts, speakers and content creators for a weekend of education, collaboration and dialogue.

Attendees can look forward to insightful sessions like “Stop Thinking Like a Blogger and Think Like a Business,” “10 Ways to Turn Your Blog Writing from Basic to Brilliant,” “What You Need to Know to Make the Most of Your Blog,” as well as a “Beginning Blogger Bootcamp.”
The conference will feature appearances from experts with substantial blogging and social media experience including Necole Bitchie of NecoleBitchie.com, Black Enterprise SVP Alfred Edmond, Black Girls Code’s Kimberly Bryant and Interactive One’s very own Markus Robinson.
