More than 1,000 Chicagoans will hit the pavement to show their support for children with brain tumors in this annual run. Top male and female finishers will receive prizes as will top fundraisers. A post-event celebration at Diversey Harbor will include complimentary food, beverages and entertainment.

3year-old Lurie Children’s patient Beckett Ryba will serve as this year’s Run for Gus ambassador. Beckett is being treated at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago for an inoperable brain tumor.

Funds raised from this event will support the Young Associates Board’s commitment to the Hospital’s Neuro-Oncology program for research, treatment and support services.
