UPDATED 10/16/2013: Officer Philip Nace of Philadelphia’s District 25, shown and heard in the below video has been captured in a previous incident involving the apparent harassment of youth playing basketball. Watch the video here.

A recent video documenting an apparent stop-and-frisk procedure on two men is currently undergoing online scrutiny and exposing the aggressive, verbally violent (at the very least) side of law enforcement in communities of color. Released on September 30, 2013 via YouTube, the 16-minute video shows two Philadelphia police officers questioning two men using foul language and threats of physical violence.

While asking for identification from the men, the police officers repeatedly use aggressive language and berate the men for coming to their neighborhood, accuse them of dealing drugs, telling them to “go back to New Jersey” and claim they “weaken the country.”
