Satirical website The Onion, which made waves back in February when it posted a tweet calling nine-year-old Academy Award nominee Quvenzhané Wallis a “cunt” on Twitter, is once again taking aim at one of the sacred cows in the Black community: slavery.

Out Of Line: The Onion Calls Child Actor Quvenzhané Wallis A ‘C*nt’ On Twitter

Tackling the criticism that most Black films are generic and easily interchangeable, the review includes a hilarious — or insulting — mash up of classics such as Remember The Titans, Malcolm X, Roots and The Color Purple as if they are all one film. Tyler Perry‘s Madea was also thrown in for good measure, as is Sammy Davis, Jr. — who should “finally get that Oscar he so rightly deserves.” With a straight face reviewer Peter K. Rosenthal seamlessly blends the plots and characters of the above films.
