Doug Gansler Formally Announces His Run For Governor Doug Gansler is the attorney general of Maryland, and he is now running for  governor of the state.  He has advocated for many causes in Maryland, including water pollution, healthcare fraud, and underage drinking. So it’s odd that Gansler has come under fire for teenage drinking this year when he did not supervise a beach party his son attended. He admitted, “There could be Kool-Aid in the red cups, but there’s probably beer in the red cups.” Gansler had a press conference to address the issue. Watch below.

What do you think of Gansler’s explanation? Tune in to “NewsOne Now” with Roland Martin this morning, at 10 a.m. EST, to hear more about it and weigh in.

Also, take our poll below to let us know what you’d do if your kids wanted to have a party.
