Bobbito Garcia, an original member of the Rock Steady Crew and street baller, was on “NewsOne Now” to discuss his and co-director Kevin Couliau’s new documentary, “Doin’ It In the Park,” on inner city basketball’s impact on culture.

“We wanted to create a love letter for the sport,” said Garcia, “and really just try to present an honest portrait to a lot of people who might walk by their local playground and not even realize that there is an entire world and that it means everything to some of the people who participate there and that it’s free recreation.”
