A congregation was recently saddened by the loss of their pastor. The truly shocking aspect of the tragedy was that he committed suicide as his wife and children waited for him to get to church, along with 800 members of his congregation.

Rev. Teddy Parker Jr. was the pastor of the Bibb Mount Zion Baptist Church in Macon, GA. According to several witnesses, he confessed to his congregation that sometimes, “I don’t feel like God is hearing me.” Rev. Parker, Jr. was found by his wife Larrinecia after he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
