Two workers at a Memphis, Tenn., cotton warehouse have filed charges against their workplace, accusing a former supervisor of calling them “monkeys,” along with other racist treatment, according to WREG.

According to Antonio Harris and Marrio Mangrum, their old boss constantly treated them with intolerance, allegedly telling them that only White people could use the work water fountain and microwave.
“He would be like, ‘You need to think like a White man,” said Mangrum.
“He pulled his pants down in front of us and told us to kiss his white tail,” Harris added.
Harris claimed that he couldn’t take it anymore after months of abuse. One day, he decided to use his phone to record his attempt at drinking from the fountain.
In the recording, the supervisor is apparently heard saying, “Hey! I need to put a sign here that says, ‘White people only.'”
Harris also recorded his efforts at accessing the microwave. “I am going to use the microwave,” he is later heard saying.
“Hell no!” the supervisor angrily yells back.
“Why can’t I use the microwave, man?” Harris inquires.
“Because you are not White,” the supervisor responds. During the recording, the supervisor also shows a fondness for pre-segregation times.
“Back then, nobody thought anything about it. Now everybody is made [to] think it’s bad,” he is heard saying.
Harris soon decides to defy the rule. “Put your sign on the wall then, because I am feeling to drink it,” says Harris. “What would they do when they catch me drinking your water?”
The supervisor’s answer is shocking: “That`s when we hang you.”

Harris and Mangrum have filed a discrimination charge with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). The EEOC is speaking with the cotton gin’s owner about settling.
“I worked for another company for 12 years and they never did something like that to me.” Harris said. The gin’s owner had no comment about the pending litigation.
