According to reports, Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, the prisoner of war was released back into the custody of the U.S. government in a deal where five high-ranking, hard-core terrorists imprisoned at Guantánamo Bay were released in exchange. Many have been critical of the the governments, particularly President Obama‘s decision to make the deal. Some have even claimed that Sgt. Bergdal was actual a deserter and traitor by soldiers who served with him. Former Marine, Goldie Taylor and Armstrong Williams joined Roland Martin on “NewsOne Now” to discuss the controversy surrounding Pres. Obama’s decision to bring Bergdahl home.

Actor Flex Alexander and wife, singer Shanice, joined Roland Martin on “NewsOne Now” to talk about their new reality series on OWN, “Flex & Shanice: All In The Family.” During their chat with Martin, the couple admitted to their family experiencing financial troubles but said they hope the show will teach others how to overcome such challenges.

Tech giant Google released their diversity numbers and the results were not good. According to Rev. Jesse Jackson, Facebook and eBay refuse to release their diversity data. Rev. Jackson joined Roland Martin on “NewsOne Now” to discuss what we can do to press Silicon Valley to be more inclusive.
