The seemingly once very in love and happy pair, who met in 2007 before getting engaged in 2009, really appeared to have it all.  Strahan’s career flew off the Richter scale with his enviable gig as co-host of ABC-TV morning chatfest “Kelly and Michael.”  He even recently joined the morning cast of the popular “Good Morning America” show.

Murphy, the former wife of actor Eddie Murphy, managed to polish her own star when she landed the role of a Hollywood ex-wife on the hot VH-1 reality show,  “Hollywood Exes.”

News of the handsome couple’s breakup was leaked just one day shy of Strahan’s induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame for playing as a New York Giants defensive end for 14-years.

During the time they were together, both Strahan and Murphy reportedly helped one another raise their children from previous relationships.  Murphy has five children from her marriage to Eddie.  Strahan has four children from two previous marriages.
